Self portrait
This photographic self portrait shows the artist's genomic DNA, isolated from cells in the cheek. The DNA has been tagged with ethidium bromide, which shows up as a white glow under the imaging apparatus, a Biorad Gel Doc EZ imager. The differing amounts of ethidium bromide used within the PCR tubes accounts for the colour disparity in this image.
